Dear Parents,

Welcome to the start of what I know will be a wonderful school year! With many new and exciting experiences ahead, I urge you to use this site as a way to keep up with what your child will be working hard on this year. As an educator, I understand how new concepts and material may seem challening for both students and parents to become familiar with. While today's math class might seem very different from what they looked like in the past, I assure you the concepts and strategies are fun and easy to use!

Each week I will be providing topics covered in class, as well as a step-by-step model demonstrating how to arrive at the correct answer. These models will illustrate the steps in the same way your children are learning them in class, so that you and your child can go over them together.

I will also provide other useful resources, such as videos and fun games to help keep your child motivated to learn, even outside the classroom. My hope is to show your child how fun and simple math can be, making them confident and eager to learn more!
